Rewrite Cinderella from Cinderella' perspective(Excerpt from the godmother helping Cinderella)

One gloomy day, I was standing in the corner, completely devastated. Big, fat tears streamed down my face continuously, and my body trembled with each sob. My kind-hearted godmother, who happened to pass by, noticed me in this pitiful state right away. She rushed towards me with concern written all over her face. "Oh, my dear child," she said, her voice soft and filled with worry, "what on earth has happened to make you cry like this?"
I opened my mouth, trying to speak. "I wish I could... I wish I could...", but the overwhelming emotions and my sobs got the better of me. I just couldn't manage to utter the rest of my words.
My godmother, who was no ordinary woman but a kind-hearted fairy, seemed to read my mind in an instant. She gave me a gentle smile and said, "You're longing to go to that magnificent ball, aren't you?" "Yes!" I exclaimed, letting out a long, heavy sigh. "I've been dreaming of it day and night, but I know it's impossible." I added, my voice trailing off in despair.
"Now, now," my godmother said soothingly, "just be a good girl, and I promise I'll figure out a way to make your wish come true." With that, she took my hand and led me into her cozy chamber. "Run into the garden quickly," she told me, "and bring me the plumpest, most perfect pumpkin you can find."
Without a moment's hesitation, I dashed out into the garden. I searched high and low, carefully examining each pumpkin. Finally, I spotted one that was big, bright orange, and looked absolutely perfect. I picked it up with both hands and rushed back to the house, presenting it to my godmother with a glimmer of hope in my eyes.
However, I was extremely confused. I stared at the pumpkin, trying to wrap my head around how this ordinary vegetable could possibly help me get to the ball. Just then, my godmother took out a large spoon and started scooping out the soft, pulpy insides of the pumpkin. She worked patiently until nothing was left but the hard, smooth rind. Then, with a wave of her shiny wand, she tapped the pumpkin gently. In an instant, there was a flash of light, and the plain pumpkin transformed into a magnificent coach. The coach was covered in gold, and it sparkled brilliantly in the sunlight.
Next, we went over to her mousetrap. When I peeked inside, I saw six little mice scurrying around, full of life. My godmother asked me to lift the trapdoor a little bit. As each mouse emerged, she tapped it lightly with her wand. Miraculously, each mouse was transformed into a beautiful horse. The horses were a lovely shade of dapple gray, just like the color of a mouse's fur. They stood tall and proud, looking like a magnificent team.
But then we realized we were missing a coachman. After thinking for a moment, I said, "I'll go and check the mousetrap. Maybe there's a rat in there that we can turn into a coachman." My godmother nodded approvingly and said, "You're absolutely right. Off you go and have a look." With that, I hurried away, filled with excitement and anticipation for what was to come.
I climbed into the coach, the coachman cracked his whip, and we set off towards the palace, where the ball awaited. The night was young, the stars were out, and for a few precious hours, I was to live a dream that not even my tears could have washed away.
