编程心语（三）—— Summer Vacation Job Diary（Auguest）

　　Update：2010-08-02

　　Today I put a test on our SOA web system , and find out many problems , I write down a document contains these problems along with the test job , in addition , I have some discussion about our new requirements raised last week , hoho , it seems that we got us a lot of new stuff to accomplished this week , let's rock and roll !

　　Today we got some changes in our project team , one of our members's been told to leave the company , and the reason is pretty simple , incorrect work attitude plus low work efficiency , but that's not the biggest change , the biggest change is I have to take his job , shift my work emphasis to the website display , and I truly feel that , compare to write perfect codes , it's much harder to modify some ugly codes , what I take on is a website uses pure table layout , with a lot of iframes , what's worse is all the pages contain a lot of deprecated , unnecessary , and even wrong CSS styles , and without a CSS file to manage it , in addition , the manager told me to fulfill the task by Friday , which make me feel a lot pressure , Ooops...

　　After some thoughts collecting job yesterday , I trully start to get my job started , apart from the although ugly but can be used html+css

codes , I put the system management module in the first place , and I modify or even rewrite all the necessary pages , replace the pure button style to some image button , the GridView control to simple Repeater control , use some background images for decoration , modify some bugs in the program .

　　The process is tough and slow , but I got confidence to fulfill it by the deadline.

　　Today I focused on the last module of system management module , it's users management , actually I find kind of scruple on whether changing the design of database tables or modifying the background codes directly , the result is I choose the latter option , the good thing is I don't need to change recent codes a bit , so I can get rid of some trouble raised by something like the fields in the database tables etc , but on the other hand , I have to add a lot more codes background to make up the defects of table design , and I feel a little bit awful for this , I cannot image that after over a year programming learning , I'm still seeing this stuff , oh ....  Let me finish it , that's enough !

　　Today I have a day off , our tutor gather us for a meeting , mainly talked about the achievement we have successfully accomplished through all kinds of projects in the past, and the job we need to do in the future , give us a lot of constructive and useful advice for our job and study , all in all , I got a lot from this meeing , and most importantly , I feel very motivated and hopeful for my postgraduate years , I feel I will benefit a lot from the study and work during these years , I just feel it !

　　When you got a lot golden oppotunities ahead of you , you have no excuse to pass it , as a matter of fact , I must grasp it , and make the best of it , by all means .

　　Today I continue the work on the purview system , and I define the access rules for every role in this system , such as the condition of disable buttons for inquire information , etc , then I put some test data to the database , and amend some bugs in the program.

　　Update：2010-08-10

　　Today I redesign the dbo.Management table in the database , which is used to save the data that each user can managed in the project , I delete some unnecessary fields in the table , truncate all the data in the table , rewrite the sql to insert data into this table , and put some test to make sure it's right , after that I add some new operation on adding and editing users —— Purview System work has successfully done here.

　　Two of our team members have accomplished all the Cognos report for four new topics , Today I mainly add all the Cognos report links to the front page , and write a work summary document , including the modification record based on the website before , the usage instruction for the purview management , and the work we need to do when we got some new requirements in the future .

　　一个假期的工作总算是告一段落，明天启程上海，哈哈，忙里偷闲吧，I'm coming , EXPO !
