Today I received a letter from MSRA (Microsoft Research Asia) University Relationship Group informing about the founding of MSRA Visiting Student Alumni Community. Microsoft VP Kai-Fu Lee also wrote a letter to offer his greetings and send the request for supporting his website: www.kaifulee.com. He said:

My hope was to create a community for students, where I and other experienced people can help the students, but more importantly, where the sutdents can help each other.
...
7 months after setting up the site, I am more saddened every day as I see the plight of the Chinese students.
...
Some of the students are so lost, that I, as someone who didn't grow up in China, find the questions unfathomable. But I think you, as someone their similar age, will be in a good position to answer, and I hope you will take the time to answer one a week, or participate in one discussion a week.
...

Frankly, I've read the 4 letters Kai-Fu wrote to Chinese Students and they do help me a lot both in my life and in my study. I really appreciate and admire the contributions Kai-Fu made to Chinese students and youths. Perhaps, as Kai-Fu said in his letter, we are lucky dogs in our similar age, so it's desirable for us to help those less fortunate ones.
