Comparison of Discovery Service Architectures for the Internet of Things

2.Motivation: The current DS architecture are only available as architecture proposals or pilot implementations, but can’t be used to make a quantitate evaluation and benchmarking. So The author construct a quality evaluation framework for conducting an evaluation for the existing DS Architecture.

3.Summary:  The author described requirements for Discovery Services, and performed an overview and analysis of five established approaches for implementing Discovery Services that are taken from literature and industrial practice.  In order to compare their characteristics, the author developed a quality framework based on literature review and an ISO standard for software quality.
