Reflection journal of my digital story.

After creating the digital story based on the emperor’s narrative, several key issues emerged.
Firstly, the pacing was inconsistent; some scenes dragged, while others felt rushed, disrupting the story’s flow and possibly confusing the audience.
Secondly, the visual representation didn’t fully capture the text’s rich descriptions. The descriptions of the characters lacked nuanced expressions, failing to convey their complex emotions, like the emperor’s inner conflict or the minister’s anxiety.
Additionally, the sound design was weak; background music is either too overpowering or missing, reducing the immersive experience. These challenges taught me the importance of meticulous planning and a balance between visual, auditory, and narrative elements for effective storytelling.
