错误：MMC 不能打开文件
2009-09-26 14:56 晓风残月 阅读(2055) 评论(0) 编辑 收藏 举报在 WIN2K3 R2 标准版 SP2 上安装完 SMTP/POP 服务之后，打开 POP3 Service 服务提示：
MMC 不能打开文件 C:\WINDOWS\system32\p3server.msc。这可能是由于文件不存在，不是一个MMC控制台，或者用后来版本的MMC创建 。也可能是由于您没有访问此文件的足够权限”。
MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\p3server.msc. This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file.
可我是 Administrator，并且尝试重启系统，重新安装 SP2，卸载/重装POP 都无果。在系统服务里面发现 POP3 Service 已经正常的启动。
搜到网上很多文章说是缺乏 msxml 组件，执行
regsvr32 msxml.dll
regsvr32 msxml3.dll
regsvr32 msxml6.dll
都无效。
最后功夫不负有心人，让我搜到 Error: MMC cannot open the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\BINN\SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC.
原来 .msc 本身是 xml 文档，我用记事本打开我的 p3server.msc 竟然是空的，难怪 … 更伤心的是 Windows 报的这个错误太弱智了。
解决方案：
WIN + R > mmc > File > Add/Remove snap-in > Add > 找到 POP3 Service > Add > Close > Save as > 存到任何你想要的路径 或者 直接覆盖 C:/WINDOWS/system32/p3server.msc ，下次直接打开这个 msc 就可以了
