Setting up the CLI environment

To set up your CLI environment:

1. Install ActivePerl, your Java Run-Time Environment (JRE), and the S60 Platform SDK for Symbian OS, for C++ Feature Pack 1.

2. Install Carbide.c++ Express v1.1.

   Note: Install Carbide.c++ Express v1.1 on the same drive as you install the SDK.

3. In the <Carbide.c++_Express_Installation_folder>"Carbide.c++ Express v1.1"plugins"com.nokia.carbide.cpp.support_1.1.0.5"env_switch folder, double-click the env_update.exe file and select the latest compiler version.

   If you install Carbide.c++ Express in its default folder, the path is C:"Program Files"Nokia"Carbide.c++ Express v1.1"plugins"com.nokia.carbide.cpp.support_1.1.0.5"env_switch.

4. Close the command prompt.
