Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7中的Cube and Report在Cognos V8 Portal中的应用

Cognos 8.3 中彻底没有了upfron的影子，Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7中Cube与Report是否可以在Cognos v8.3的portal是应用，答案是肯定的，现在来研究一下其用法。

结合前面已经安装的IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence V8.3 系统，我们已经在服务器wsmis2bi中创建了Cognos v8.3的服务，现在我们要把服务器wsmis188上PPES服务器中的Cube & Rpoert 发布到Cognos v8.3的Portal中，直接应用。

如果考虑到安全验证，测试了好几种Name Space，只有Cognos Series 7的类型，可以在Cognos V8的Portal中支持PPES的直接访问，加入Cognos Series 7安全验证的方法，在Cognos V8.3 安全认证 已经说明，这里不再多余。

第一步：安装Gateway组件

在wsmis2bi中安装Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7的Gateway组件。

第二步：配置IIS

Gateway组件安装完毕，创建Gateway URI， 开启IIS管理界面，创建如下虚拟目录，如下图所示：

之前，此服务器中已经存在Cognos V8.3的Gateway,为了区分，所以在新建虚拟目录命名为Cognos7。

第三步：安全

配置wsmis2bi服务器中的配置文件，安全验证配置如下图所示：



第四步：Server Configuration

具体操作步骤太烦琐，点点鼠标左右建，利弹出的菜单，创建下图的所示的结果即可。



应用上述配置，因为没有服务器组件，所以不需要重新启动服务。

第五步：修改Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7的配置

同第四步中的配置一样修改Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7中的配置。

应用配置，重新启动服务。(第四，五两步配置文件的同步，可以使用简单方法，生成cer5.csx，利用cer5.csx可以方便的同步。方法很简单，这里不多余了)

第六步：更新PowerPlay Enterprise - Administration的配置，

如下图所示：


应用配置。

完成上述六步，即可以从Cognos PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7向Cognos V8的portal中发布Cube或Rpeort了，并可以直接在Cognos V8的portal中直接访问。
