Material One

In 2004 Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer . The doctors told him it was almost certainly an incurable cancer, and that he should expect to live no longer than three to six months . Steve Jobs felt death was so close . Later he had the surgery and his conditions improved greatly . After living through the darkest days in his life , Steve Jobs gained a valuable lesson about living . So in 2005 while he was delivering a speech at Stanford University , he shared that lesson with the audience : " Your time is limited , so don't waste it living someone elses life . Don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking . Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice . And most important , have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

  One day , Howard Kelly , a poor boy was very hungry so he decided to beg for a meal . However , he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door . Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water . She thought he looked hungry so she brought him a large glass of milk . After drinking it he asked . How much do I owe you ? " " You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught me never to accept pay for a kindness." As Howard Kelly left that house , he not only felt stronger physically , but it also increased his faith in God and the human race.

  Years later the young woman became critically ill and was sent to the big city . Dr.Howard Kelly , now famous was called in for the consultation. He recognized her at once and determined to do his best to save her life . After along struggle , the battle was won . When the bill was sent to her room , she was afraid to open it because she was positive that it would take the rest of her life to pay it off. Finally she looked , and the note on the side of the bill caught her attention . She read these words : " Paid in full with a glass of milk . Dr.Howard Kell Tears of joy flooded her eyes as she prayed silently : " Thank You, God. You love has spread through human hearts and hands
