Haha, I find rainy days depressing as well. When are you planning to take GMAT again? There should be enough time for you to prepare, so don't stress out too much. But don't forget the GMAT writing is not as important as the rest, so you shouldn't overspend time on it if you don't have time

I thought of 萧十三郎 that you told me about because when I was singing karoake, there's this song that was composed by 十一郎, and I thought the name familiar. Don't remember the songs that you recommended me from before, but I will look into them when I get the chance. They sound like such a cool group of people that I really hope to meet them someday when I get back to China. =D

Now I feel the stress acculmulated through procrastination. All March, I have been pretty chilled. Until now. Soon, I will have an essay due and two huge presentations. And I'm looking to pull out my wisdom teeth this Wednesday. I hope I survive from that, hahah! Then, next weekend, I'm going to Boston to attend a business conference. That should be really fun! ohYAY.

I printed out three books today, hoping to read them recently. Two are vault guides and one is the book I recommended you before, Never Eat Alone. Hopefully, I can get something out of them.

Today, I went to Chinatown to eat dumplings, and this waiter is... surprisingly... a white dude. He's a stand-up comedian, and working in the Chinese restaurant just to make a living. He was talking about how he had been traveling around Canada and with a job as a stand-up comedian, he has no steady income. But man, his life sounds soo exciting, traveling here and there for shows.

Grammar:

I just realize that summarizing news report is too slow and that leaves me with little time to prepare for the GMAT writing. The writing style and content are too different from GMAT writing, even though it is a good way to improve writing skills for the long term. Therefore, I would focus mainly on GMAT writing, and if there is enough time, I would summarize news report. At the same time, I make the best use of my limited time to balance the writing part and other parts of GMAT. In the recent two weeks, I have already read about 15 pieces of model essays with extreme care. It’s helpful indeed. I will use those sentences structures to write essay independently, and then submit the essay to you to examine.
