Snowball

I am on a roll of being 颓废！Yesterday, I was planning on sleeping at 12, but instead, read this book until 3:30 in the morning. It's Warren Buffett's biography: The Snowball, Warren Buffett and the business of life. It's a very thick book, as heavy as the dictionary. But the author has written the biography in such an interesting and exotic way that I'm just way too hooked. (I had the book for two years without reading it, but these days, when I know that I should start writing this English Essay on The Killing Circle, when I know that I should start doing my work on the Research Assistant, when I know that I should prepare for the group meeting for tomorrow on a "Wicked Business Problem" that requires integrative thinking and when I know that I should at least pretend to try to apply for jobs, I read the book day and night and whenever I could find time and excuse to 不做正事. T...T怎么办。。。 我又没有自制力了。。。

Grammar

The result is that I am finally moved into the another department with no bargain. My current boss’s thought is a little bit too simple and straightforward as compared with my former boss in shanghai. This might be the regional personality difference. However, I have another strategy to survive well in this/the new department. Because I find out that there is no formal power limitation, I will take advantage of it discreetly. Yes, it is indeed complicated but this is business. This is office politics. Undeniably, I hate all of this, but after considering the negative side of resignation, such as career gaps, I can only adjust to the game rule of company. Maybe I need an experienced MBA as my advisor to instruct me on how to deal with these problems.
