Christmas lights have been in use for more than a century, but many people don't know that there are significant changes in size and surface treatment that may change the entire environment. When you finish reading, you will become a Christmas light connoisseur, in addition to the tree, you can also use Christmas lights in many other places.

When you look at the Christmas light bulb, you will find that it is made up of different parts. The top (usually wider), the bulb outlet, is called the bulb base at the bottom. The bulb base is responsible for screwing into the bulb housing/socket to cause the bulb to produce light. There are two common types of lamp bases, one called a screw base and the other a needle seat. I believe that you are already familiar with the screw base of the bulb. These can be found on ordinary household bulbs, and the bottom of the Christmas bulb is also very good. In fact, the hubs are usually only found on fluorescent bulbs, they are completely inserted into different housings.

Now why do     LED Holiday Light    discuss such an important bulb base? Because the bulb base has different dimensions like a bulb lens - this determines the size of the bulb that can be screwed into the base. Due to the pattern in the name, there are three common bulb bases that are easy to remember. The number of each bulb base corresponds to their base size in millimeters. The first base size is the smallest, about the size of the night light, and is called the E12 base. I believe you have guessed that its base size is 12 mm. The next size of the E12 is the E17 base. The base of the E17 measures 17 mm and is the size of a Christmas bulb and a garden light. The ultimate foundation is familiar to most people, the E26. The E26 base is 26 mm and is suitable for your standard household light bulb. So if you have an outdoor floodlight that overlooks the garage or backyard, it is likely to sit on the E26 base. Most household lights use E26 bulbs. The E26 base is also known as a medium-sized base.

The bulb bases can be boring because they are not a good looking part. This made me think of a light bulb lens. The lens on the bulb changes the way the light is projected or displayed. This means that the beautiful lights you see are all through the lens. The most common shot on a Christmas light bulb is transparent, which means you can see through the light bulb. These bulbs also shine very brightly, creating a wonderful Christmas feel. The second most common Christmas light look is done with an opaque lens. These are opaque and do not produce as bright light as a clear lens, but are still aesthetically pleasing. These bulbs produce light that is softer and easier than a transparent bulb. There are also two lenses that are not well known, but still play an important role in the appearance of the Christmas lights. The first is a faceted lens with a diamond-like pattern. These lights are translucent and still emit bright light, but produce light in a unique way. Multi-faceted lenses are most common on LED Christmas lights. The last type of lens is called matte and looks like frosted glass. These are softer than other types of lens bulbs, creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere.

Maybe now that you have read the information about the bulb lens, you want to try some different lens styles, which is great! But first you should know how to properly install a bulb lens so that your light looks as spectacular as you might want. In order to use the bulb lens correctly, it must be accurately measured to be able to adapt to the size of the bulb it covers. For diameter and height, the lens is measured in inches. Once you know the size of the bulb, you can easily place the lens on the rest. The bulb lens plays a vital role in the illumination of the light and the atmosphere produced by the light used.

When buying a Christmas light bulb, it may be confusing to know which light bulb is suitable for which occasion. But don't worry, because I will write it for you in a simple and easy way. We'll start by looking at the C-style bulbs that were created in the 1920s. These bulbs have a tapered shape and are therefore referred to as Type C. When you start looking at the light bulb, you may start with a C7 on the E12 base (remember your base size!), only one and a half inches high. This bulb is quite small, but it works very well, in fact it is the most common Christmas bulb! The next size is the C9, which is located in the middle base of the E17 and has a bulb height of 2 inches. It is similar to the C7, but slightly larger and the base is larger.

The next type of bulb that LED holiday lights will discuss is the G-type bulb. G-style G stands for the world. These lights are spherical and look like a mini ball sitting on the base of the bulb. There are four important G-type bulbs, G20, G30, G40 and G50. These numbers are important for this type of bulb because they are related to the diameter of the bulb. Each G-type bulb can also be mounted on an E12 base or E17 base. The G20 bulb has a diameter of 20 mm, making the G30 bulb 30 mm in diameter, and so on. Since the diameter of the bulb is in the name, these bulb sizes are fairly easy to remember.

The last few bulbs are much larger than the C and G bulbs. These include the T50 (also known as S14), A15 and A19 bulbs. Each bulb is mounted in the E26 base (medium base), your standard household lamp holder. The T50 and A15 bulbs have the same diameter of 1.75 inches, while the A19 bulbs are slightly larger and 2.25 inches in diameter. These bulbs are significantly larger than other bulbs, with A19 being the largest bulb - and are known as the size and shape of the most common household bulbs.

You may be wondering if you need all of this information. Well, because the size of the bulb changes very much, so is the use of each bulb. Two C-type bulbs are used for similar situations and C9 bulbs are used for new areas. C7 is used for outdoor trees, lining roofs or walkways, night lights or electronic candles. C9 is most commonly used for contoured roof lines for larger outdoor trees and bushes. The C9 is also not used for night lights or electronic candles, but for party or retro designs.

With the exception of the smallest G20 bulbs, all G bulbs are used in the same situation. G20 is used for parties, weddings, small trees or bushes. The G30, G40 and G50 are used in the same way as the G20, but in addition they are used as fair or circus lights and overhead garden lighting. The earth's style on these bulbs makes them ideal for party or wedding lights because they are uniquely designed to create a better visual appeal for the area.

T50 is similar to G lights because they are used for parties. But they are also popular choices for terraces, signs, fairs or circus lights. The unique shape of the T bulb creates a courtyard decoration that many people like. Type A lamps are used where a larger light bulb is needed to make the space look great. The A15 is used for parties, gardens, signs and even deck lighting. It is the bigger brother, the A19 is also used for parties, signs and deck lighting, but also for home lamps.

Each bulb has a different diameter than its corresponding bulb. Some will have different basic sizes. Usually when you buy a Christmas light, you have arranged the lights, so the basic size is usually not a problem for the average consumer. Since the diameters of the lamps vary widely, this will definitely change the way they are used and which scene is best for each bulb size. Different sizes of light bulbs can break or break the atmosphere in the room, which is why it is important to know what look you want and which lightweight size meets expectations.

It's not as complicated as it sounds, because in the most common Christmas bulb sizes -- the C7 always has an E12 base and the C9 always has an E17 base. So you really only need to care which size is best for your application.

The maximum range of bulb sizes for the same style is found in the G-bulb. From G20 to G50, there is a 30 mm gap that can significantly change the feel and design of the room, depending on which size of bulb is placed. The shape of the bulb remains the same and the light output for each size does not change unless the lens is placed on the bulb. The bulb size can be larger or smaller depending on the individual's needs.

If you want to set the right atmosphere at home, in the garden, at the party or anywhere else you think fit, it's important to understand the Christmas lights and their size, shape, color and filters. Although the size may seem a bit confusing and difficult at first, once you start to see patterns of different sizes, it's easier to remember and plan your space. From now on, any side of your plan, the trees you decorate or the roofs you line up in line, look perfect because of your extensive knowledge of the light bulb and the area in which it looks best.
