1）The word "data" is plural, so we say thees data show, the data support.

2) Affect vs. effect. Affect is verb, while effect is noun in general. Exception: "to effect a change".

3) Campared to vs compared with

Campared to =  to point out similarities between different thing

Campare with = point differences between similar things. ()

4) that vs. which

　　that is the restrictive defining pronoun

　　which is the nonrestictive (non-define) pronoun.

Is your clause essential? If so, use that. Otherwise use the which. Removing which clause will not change the meaning of a centence.
