When we started making the digital story of "The Emperor's New Clothes", we had a lot of feelings. At first, we were kind of nervous because we didn't know if we could do it good. But we were also really curious and excited to try something new.
We began by looking for pictures about "The Emperor's New Clothes". There were so many pictures on the Internet. We had to look through a whole bunch of them and pick the best ones. It wasn't easy to decide which pictures were just right for our story. While we were doing this, we also had to find a good software to make the video. We tried different ones. We read what other people said about them on the Internet. Some said this software was easy to use, but it didn't have all the things we needed. Others said that software had great features, but it was too hard to learn. After looking for a long time, we finally found one that we thought would work.
Then came the script. We sat down and thought about how to tell the story in a new way. We write down what the characters would say and do. At first, we were a bit worried that our ideas might not be good. But as we kept writing, we got more into it. We started to see the story come to life in our minds.
During this process, we had both bad and good times. When we couldn't decide which pictures to use, we felt kind of down. We were afraid that the story wouldn't look right. But when we finished the first draft of the script, we felt really proud. It was like we had built a little world of our own. Compared to just writing a story on paper, making this digital story was much more fun. We got to think about how it would look and sound. One of the best parts was writing the words that the characters would say. It was like we were making them talk and be alive.
We also learned a lot of new things. We got better at putting together pictures and words. We learned how to use the video - making software. We could cut parts we didn't need, add music, and make the story look nice. These skills will help us in the future when we write other stories.
At the beginning, we didn't feel very sure of ourselves. We hadn't done this kind of thing before. But when we saw our script all done, we felt really good about ourselves. We knew that we could do hard things and make something cool. This whole experience of making the digital story was really great. We learned, we grew, and we had a lot of fun.
