多数要去 e：

ce、ge 结尾的不用去 e：agreeable changeable knowledgeable(这个词不在维克多里) noticeable

原理

元音字母 a、e、i、o、u、y（y 是半元音字母）分为硬元音 a、o、u 和软元音 e、i、y，这种分法主要针对 c、g 的读音规则而言。
我们把 a、o、u 前的 c 称为“硬C”，发/k/音；e、i、y 前的 c 称为“软C”，发/s/音。
同理，a、o、u 前的 g 称为“硬G”，发/g/音；e、i、y 前的 g 称为“软G”，发/dʒ/音。
（英语中只有极少部份 gi、ge、gy 存在例外）

正是由于这一条发音规则，所以才有了加-able时，碰到ce、ge结尾的字时不去e，如果去掉了e，则c、g与a相拼，会发成硬音的/k/和/g/。
