EV: Notepad++: .log file opener in Win7

1. In Notepad++, open Settings\Preferences\File Association dialog.

2. Move .log into the Registered exts list.

3. Close the dialog and Notepad++.

4. In windows explorer, right-click on a .log file and set Notepad++ as the default opener.

 

Notes:

If you only take the 4th step above, the icon of .log files will looks weird.
