A new development version of Elive, a Debian-based distribution featuring the latest Enlightenment 17 desktop, has been released for testing: "The Elive team is proud to announce the release of the development version 1.9.24. Updates: we have finished synchronizing the repositories using the new Debian 'Lenny'; updated Enlightenment 17 with new features; the new optimized file system, Reiser4fs, is available as a kernel module; Scite is again the default editor; Thunar previews Flash videos; MPlayer - some changes that include a fix of an annoying pop-up message when using some audio cards, and some hot keys added for the non-GUI mode; removed old Thunar auto-launchers; better touchpad sensitivity on MacBooks...."
