Like if you got a parking ticket because you were in the wrong spot, you should say, "I made a mistake and I'll pay the ticket."

 Or if your mother-in-law calls when you're not ready totalk,it's better to say that instead of fibbing(撳小谎) and saying you're not home.

It's important to talk about feelings, too, If you're feeling down or worried , it's okay to tell your children.Saying “I'm feeling a bit sad today, but I'll be okay" is better than saying “I'mfine" when you're not.

For example , if you say “We never lie in this family,” bu then ask your 4-year-old child to “Tell Aunt Susie you love the gift", they might get confused.

But by the time kids are 6 or 7, they can understand that sometimes telling a little white lie can help someone feel better.
