The high level of English is a standard for a top student.

1. Describe a good law in your country.

---What it is?
---How did you knew it?
---Who does it affect?
---Why is it good?

I am going to talk about the first law that comes into my mind.

It is stipulated in the Chinese Constitution that civilians are prohibited from carrying guns or weapons of the same sort. I think it was put into the Law by our founding fathers since the establishment of our nation the People’s Republic of China.

I guess I have always known it. However, I wasn’t aware of it only until I read news about the school shooting incidents in America about a random person entering a campus. And out of the blue he shot and wounded a dozen innocent students. After reading the news, I was suddenly struck by a fact that has been lurking in mind and has been neglected: Hey!!! It is illegal to own a gun or even bullets in China!!! How about that!!!

This law affects all Chinese and even foreign visitors who are currently staying within Chinese borders. It guarantees a safe environment for all of us. Before the PRC was founded, our county was crawling with thugs and mobs who claimed lands as their own using violence. They used weapons such as rifles. However, after the implementation of this law, crime rates had decreased year by year and mobs of rebels were forced to break apart.

It was a visionary and standing-ovation worthy decision. Thanks to this law, we are able to stroll down the dark night streets with fears only for ghosts and not for having our lives taken by money-seeking thugs. Thanks to this law, there are no concerns of one person causing casualties by the dozens and dramatizing those who survive. Again, thanks to this law, now if I run into a mugger, I have a fighting chance! After all, a shiv is not a gun. I could out run a shiv but never could I out run a flying bullet!

2. You're shut down and frightened, the world seems hostile; when you love what is, everything in the world becomes the beloved. Inside and outside always match -- they're reflections of each other. The world is the mirror image of your mind.

3. Not believing your own thoughts, you're free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realize the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there's no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It's simple, because there really isn't anything. There's only the story appearing now. And not even that.

4. When you realize that you can only see the world as you believe it to be, you look from a new perspective. The world is an optical illusion. In the end, it's just you, crazed and miserable, or you, delighted and at peace. Everything happens for you, not to you.

5. I have questioned my thoughts, and I've seen that it's crazy to argue with what is. I don't ever want anything to happen except what's happening.

6. You can never know the ending, even as it ends. I am very moved at the sight of sky, clouds, and moonlit trees. I love that I don't miss one moment, one breath, of this amazing life.

7. What we call "bad" and what we call "good" both come from the same place. The Tao Te Ching says that the source of everything is called "darkness." What a beautiful name (if we must have a name)! Darkness is our source. In the end, it embraces everything. Its nature is love, and in our confusion we name it terror and ugliness, the unacceptable, the unbearable. All our stress results from what we imagine is in that darkness. We imagine darkness as separate from ourselves, and we project something terrible onto it. But in reality, the darkness is always benevolent.

8. Darkness is the mind that doesn't know a thing. This don't-know mind is the center of the universe -- it is the universe -- there's nothing outside it. And it's the gateway to all understanding. Once the darkness is understood, you're clear that nothing is separate from you. No name, no thought, can possibly be true in an ultimate sense. It's all provisional; it's all changing. The dark, the nameless, the unthinkable -- that is what you can absolutely trust. It doesn't change, and it's benevolent. When you realize this, you just have to laugh. There's nothing serious about life or death.

9. I have never done disreputable things in my life. You should never do shady things that you are afraid of being exposed. And you should not be afraid of being known about things you do. What’s more, the more people know about it, the more it seems that those things should be done.

10. There is only one thing that makes people feel fatigued: vacillation and indecision. When you take actions to do something, everything you have done will make you feel free in body and mind. Even if you fail to do things right, it will still be better than never have done them.

11. “There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real! ”

12. In life, patience is the key. It's much better to be going somewhere slowly than nowhere fast.

13. If something is not happening for you, it doesn't mean it's never going to happen. It means you're not ready for it.

14. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

15. You don't overcome challenges by making them smaller, but by making yourself bigger.

16. The sign of maturity is not when you start speaking big things, but, actually it is, when you start understanding small things

17. There is not elevator to sucess only stairs.

18. Today will be cruel, tomorrow will be more cruel, the day after tomorrow will be very good, but most people will die tomorrow night.、

19. Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
