Good afternoon, my dear teachers and professors. I am**, Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to interview. I am very happy to introduce myself.

First of all, I come from ** of Henan Province. I am 23 years old and graduated from the Excellent Engineer Class of ** , my major is Computer Science and Technology.

Second, In the four years, I won the first-class scholarship in 2018, the third-class scholarship in 2017 and 2016; and the outstanding graduates in 2019;  I passed the CET-4 and database engineer certificate. In addition, I have completed all courses and applied theory to practice, During the freshman and sophomore years, I joined the school's network center, Our task was to repair the entire school's network. My workload was the highest every week. Because in my heart, I should do my best, no matter what I am doing. Among them, in the sophomore summer vacation, I participated in a voluntary campaign organized by the school to help the poor in the countryside for one month. In this activity, I have a deeper understanding of hardships, knowing that happiness comes from struggling.  In my spare time, I like sports, especially Pingpang. And I also like reading and writing, I have three short novels in the school magazine.  Last year, I had an internship at two Internet companies in Shanghai for two months, and deeply experienced teamwork and innovation.

Finally, I have a strong interest in science, especially network security, I am willing to work hard for it, but now my own ability is not enough, So I am very Eager to pursue a higher degree at this university, Studying at **  can help me meet the top students and scholars, so here I believe that my academic Research will elevate to a higher level. My self-introduction is over, if I am lucky enough to get the chance, I will devote all myself to it. Thank you teaches!

reasons for my choice (考研原因)  

Please talk about the reason why you took the postgraduate entrance examination?
well, When I was 19 years old, I just got into the major. I did ’t really know my major and did ’t have much interest. But gradually I went deeper, I like this major more and more. I like to solve problems after thinking by myself. I like the feeling of writing code in the afternoon sun. Compared with undergraduates, they have more new knowledge, more professional academics, and broader horizons. Secondly, The Postgraduate Entrance Examination is only a small step in my planning, and I am closer to my dream.My dream is to be a knowledgeable person, an entrepreneur, and I hope to use our company's products to provide more help to the world. that ‘s all ,thank you.

 Please talk about your plan in the postgraduate study

First, if I can enter this university , I will be very happy and thank you for your approval. Secondly, in the first two years ,  I will seriously learn the knowledge in the classroom, use it flexibly in the laboratory, actively find problems and try to solve it by myself, often go to the library, and deepen my ability of independent thinking. Besides,I will actively communicate with my tutor【[ˈtju:tə(r)]】and classmates, find and learn new technology as much as possible in the limited time. And last year, I will publish an excellent paper and find a suitable job . that ‘s all ,thank you.

I come from **  of Henan province. It is a beautiful city, which located【[ləʊˈkeɪtɪd]】 at the southern【[ˈsʌðən] 】 part of this province. In ancient times, it was a famous post, so we call it zhumadian. It is one of the originates【[əˈrɪdʒɪneɪts]】 of 盘古 culture, the hometown of the 嫘祖 ,who is the wife of Xuanyuan yellow emperor【[ˈempərə(r)]】. And it is the center of politics, economy and culture. Many celebrities were born here, For instance, 韩非子  李斯  杨靖宇 . Finally, The outstanding culture and local customs of my hometown have nurtured me and make me even better. about family (你的家庭)

I have a happy family . there are five members: grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and me .My family is just like a hand, and each of us like a finger. My grandparents are healthy, my parents work hard, and I study hard ,so I live a happy life. My university is ** . it is located in **  which is a beautiful and famous city. It has many laboratories【[ləˈbɒrətri] 】, a fresh air and comfortable environment. plans after graduation (毕业后有什么打算)

Well, whenever I discuss this topic, I am very excited, and if this time, I will be closer to my dream. First of all, after finishing my study, I will work in a favorite company. During this time, I will work hard, improve my abilities, make new friends, find good ideas, and then after about five years, I will try to start a business with friends , make our ideas become reality [[riˈæləti] to help more people . that ‘s all ,thank you.

你的优点和缺点是什么？

What are your strengths and weaknesses?  
First, I am optimistic【[ˌɒptɪˈmɪstɪk]】and enterprising. I am good at communicating with people, dealing with problems calmly and planning. For example, during the internship, I can quickly integrate into the new environment, quickly integrate into the team, Also, I have a habit of making plans every day, and I will do a list in advance what I do in tomorrow.

Second, I think my shortcoming is that I don’t have enough work experience and lack of practical experience, so I’m changing too. While learning theory, I need to strengthen my own hands-on practical ability, such as in the future graduate study, I will spend in the laboratory more time in order to improve my own practical ability.

Talk about what you think is the most valuable quality of a person?

I think it is innovation, and innovation is doing things that others haven’t done. Innovation will stimulate motivation and promote the creation of new things. For example, science is always innovating, so that the development is so rapid, and it also inspires countless people to work hard for it. If a person has innovation, he will struggle and be full of motivation forever. So I think innovation is the most valuable quality.

本科期间学过什么课程？

What courses did you study during undergraduate?

I have studied courses such as computer operating systems, computer networks, data structures, and database principles.

I am most impressed by data structures. The textbook used was written by teacher Yan Weimin. When I was a freshman, I had a hard time learning because of the weak foundation However, during the postgraduate examination, I read some other books and re-learned again. Some of the examples are vivid and the concepts are well explained. This has allowed me to slowly cultivate a good habit of patience, to taste the good things slowly.

Who is your favorite writer?

In my free time, I really like reading, especially read some novels and history books. One of my favorite books is the Ordinary World, which is written by Lu Yao. He has created many ordinary characters, But left a deep impression on the readers, such as: Sun Shaoping, Gao Jialin, etc., Although they are all ordinary people, the spirit of persistence and hard work is worth learning.
