The Five Simple Sentence About English

 

The first simple sentence:

 

Subject + predicate + Predicative, this predicate must be a Linking verb.

 

Examples:1. I am a programmer/I am feeling a little terrible.

 

      2. Are you a teacher?/is she a teacher?

 

The second simple sentence:

Subject + Predicate, this predicate must be a Intransitive verb.

Examples:1. I went to cinema yesterday / I didn't go to cinema yesterday.

      2. The first book came out in 2003.

The third simple sentence:

Subject + predicate + Object, this predicate must be a Transitive verb.

Examples:1. I bought a very good book yesterday.

      2. My mother prepares breakfast for me every morning.

 

The fourth simple sentence:

Subject + predicate + Object complement, this predicate must be a Transitive verb.

Examples:1. I saw him come in./she ask me to come.

      2. what do you bought here?

 

The fourth simple sentence:

Subject + predicate + Object1 + Object2, this predicate must be a Transitive verb.

Examples:1. I will show you my new CD./(You) tell me the truth.

      2. can you do me a favor?
