How to resolve the problem "Could not download sliverlight application" when doing deployment

The problem is mainly because the file type ".xap" is not registered in MIME in IIS.

 

So, try to manually add the type into MIME:

 

Customer Header Name: .xap

 

Customer Header Value: application/x-silverlight-app
