NFS和ext3文件系统的区别

Kabir is basically correct.  NFS has several more fundamental flaws that make it less desirable than other available network file system sharing options.  It is really hard to secure and has less than optimal file locking.  There are a whole host of possible configuration issues that make it show it's age.  But the first time you lock up computer A because you restarted computer B where A was NFS mounting a share you will understand what I mean.  In it's day it was great.

If you go back to Episode 5 and 9(I think) of the Linuxinstall.net podcast we talked extensively about the different types.  the Going Linux podcast has also covered it well.

感觉就是NFS无锁,实现共享,ext3有锁

Simple answer: NFS is a network file system that  you use to share disk space across servers/computers.  EXT3 is a non-sharable filesystem with journaling built in to make it more resistant to corruption from things like unexpected shutdowns.  My personal opinion regarding NFS: it sucks as performance and ownership issues are often a nightmare in large-scale environment.
