问题描述：

安装完ADT插件，启动AVD时控制台出现以下提示，并不能启动AVD：

Failed to allocate memory: 8

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

（这个程序请求运行时 用一个异常的方式终止，请与应用程序的支持小组联系以获得更多的信息。）

解决办法：

打开以下配置文件

C:\Users\<user>\.android\avd\<avd-profile-name>.avd\config.ini

或者 C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.android\avd\<avd-profile-name>.avd\config.ini

将最后一行

hw.ramSize=512

替换为

hw.ramSize=512M

原因：
