前一段时间传闻Adobe要收购Macromedia，不管结果如何，网络适量图形的发展可能会出现一些波澜。

一直以来Macromedia的Flash大行其道，让Adobe一直耿根于怀，所以Adobe也一直是SVG标准的推动者，而
Adobe SVG Viewer也是目前最好的SVG Viewer。但是从3.0版本推出到现在已经有三、四年的时间了，新版本
却迟迟不来，虽然2003年在开发者社区发放了一个开发者预览版，但是这已经是很久以前的事了。

最近在YahooGroup上看到一则消息却是耐人寻味：

Adobe bought another proprietary graphics format and responsibility
for employing some of the people who sell it. So now Adobe has two
proprietary graphics formats to support. Engineers inside Adobe may
still participate in standards committees as long as they do not make
public statements committing Adobe to implementing standards.

> Do will have IE7 native svg support ?

Microsoft will add SVG to IE after Google introduces new products that
publish content as SVG.
