Hamlet’s Revenge
Hamlet, the prince of Denmark, has an admirable father, King Hamlet, and a loving mother. For him, he was the happiest person who can enjoy wealth and honor accompanied by his affectionate parents. There is also a young and beautiful girl called Ophelia dwelling in his heart whose father is a chamberlain.
Young Hamlet seemed possessed everything, Family affection, friendship, love, wealth, status.
One day, a letter sent to him urgently broke all of those things. He dashed to Denmark, only to see his revered father laying in a cold tomb and his loving mother married his uncle who was the successor of the throne while her father's bones were still intact. His happiness was taken away within a month. At the wedding, everyone's face was filled with smiles, blessing both of them. It’s seemed that he was the only one who remembered his father. He felt lonely.
After that day, there are always soldiers saying that they saw the ghost of the old king at night. One day, suspicious Hamlet braving the frozen wind went to the place where it was said that his father's ghost appeared most frequently. In that place, The father in armor told him that it was his uncle Claudius who killed him.
Seeing his deceased father’s sorrow eyes, Hamlet was overwhelmed by hatred and was determined to take revenge for his father. Back in the room, he couldn't forget for a long time and was plotting a revenge plan in his heart
In order not to be noticed, He began to pretend that he wanted to improve their relationship and prepared a congratulatory play performance for him with great fanfare. The content of this theatrical performance was exactly the murder process that Old Hamlet had told him that night. His uncle's performance made Hamlet more certain that he was the murderer of his father. However, he was isolated and helpless in the palace. To avoid being killed by his uncle, he began to act crazy and foolish. Of course, the uncle did not believe him. He found his former friends and lured them with money to test hamlet. He also seek for Ophelia's father and persuaded Ophelia to test Hamlet. After two attempts, he had fully believed that Hamlet's madness was real.
One night, desperate Hamlet came to his mother's room and accused her of fornication. During the conversation, he felt some movement behind the curtain and he suspected his uncle was eavesdropping behind it, so he picked up a knife and stabbed it hard at the curtain. After the man fell, he realized that it was actually a Ophelia's father, Polonius. Upon learning this news, Claudius understood Hamlet's vengeful heart and decided to take action. Meanwhile, Ophelia went crazy because of excessive grief and ran out and drowned in the pond one night. His elder brother Laertes was heartbroken and thought that Hamlet was the murderer who killed his father and sister. Hamlet, who felt guilty towards Ophelia in his heart, agreed to duel with him. When Claudius heard about this, he went to Laertes for a secret talk and gave he a poisoned sword and instructed him to make sure the sword pierced Hamlet. On the day of the duel, to be on the safe side, the uncle prepared poisoned wine, which was drunk by Hamlet's mother. In the duel, Hamlet, who was unaware of the situation, was stabbed by a poisoned sword. He snatched the sword and stabbed Laertes. After that, He watched his mother, who had drunk poisoned wine, fall before him. Told by Laertes that the sword was poisoned, Hamlet pierced his uncle's chest with the poisoned sword, fulfilling his long-cherished revenge, in the last second of his life.
