The Best Practices Analyzer for SQL Server 2000 (SQL BPA) analyzes SQL Server instances for compliance with widely accepted best practices in order to improve database performance and efficiency.
Steps to Follow:
1) Click 'Login' to connect to the SQL BPA Repository.
2) Click 'SQL Server Instances' to add a SQL Server Instance to the repository for analysis.
3) Click 'Best Practice Groups' to create a Best Practice Group which binds a set of rules to a
group of SQL Server instances for analysis.
4) Click 'Compliance Reports' to view the results of SQL BPA analysis. |
