云计算越来越热，不同的公司对于云计算的定义也不尽相同。微软的定义是：“An approach to computing that's about Internet scale and connecting to a variety of devices and endpoints．”
微软有着庞大的云计算策略，可以笼统的称为 Ｓｏｆｔｗａｒｅ＋Ｓｅｒｖｉｃｅｓ 即软件＋服务。具体包括３大类：
软件即服务：SaaS – Software-as-a-Service: 譬如，Office 365, CRM /ERP Online, Windows Intune
平台即服务：PaaS – Platform-as-a-Service: 譬如，Windows Azure platform
架构即服务：IaaS – Infrastructure-as-a Service: 譬如，Hyper-V Private Cloud
