spread yourself too thin
means to do so much or so many things that you aren't able to do any of them well.
I cann't spread myself too thin by having three jobs
其实就是贪多嚼不烂

Cost-effective" (adjective)
means profitable enough or rewarding enough to be worth the cost
最省钱
Licensing is the most cost-effective way to add to the line.
